Please read below for activities and events the rest of March and what is coming up for DES in April!
THIS WEEK:
Thank you to all of you that participated in the first Lollipop pull at lunch last week. The kids LOVED it and the look on their faces when their lollipop stick was a winner was priceless! We raised $500 for new recess equipment for the kiddos!! 
** Yearbook Photos ** if you have any pictures of events at DES or DES sponsored events please send the photos to Paula Shah. They are trying to make sure they have a variety of events, and a variety of students represented in the photos to add to the yearbook.
The classes they could use a few more from are: Barok, Anderson, Erchick, Lauver, Powell, Montrose, Wyzykiewicz. Thank you in advance!! Paula’s email is paula@sjtechies.com. **

* Wellness Week at School!! *
Monday 3/24 – Monday 4/14: Save any extra arts & craft supplies you have laying around the house! There is a supply drive benefiting DES in conjunction with Rutgers Environmental Stewards. A donation box will be by the elementary office. ~ See the flyer attached for more information.
Monday 3/24: Kindergarten Registration 9am – 2pm.
Tuesday 3/25: Kindergarten Registration 9am – 2pm.
Please fill out the Kindergarten registration form before arriving for your scheduled time.

Friday 4/11: Recess Runners officially starts back up at recess! Wear your sneakers, bring in your lanyards to add the new charms for spring! Weather and volunteers permitting. If you have any time to volunteer at lunch please see the sign up below. We appreciate any extra hands!

Wednesday 4/16: Science Day with Laser Guy Assembly following in the afternoon.

Monday 4/28: First day back to school after break
**Our membership drive is ongoing! Please consider signing up to join the PTA! This is an annual membership and needs to be renewed each year. A portion of your dues goes back directly to the students and staff. We encourage both parents, grandparents, aunts & uncles to sign up! Just a reminder if you have signed up to be on a PTA Planning committee or Room parent this year you must be a paid PTA member. All volunteers for PTA events must be a paid PTA member. So if you plan on helping at color run, recess runners, book fair, holiday shop etc please join! We can’t do it without your support!! The link to join is below.
