50/50 RAFFLE
Support our district to help preserve the Tier 3 teaching position which was initially identified for reduction in the district’s budget but later restored in final plan. Funds raised in this raffle will help to preserve this position beyond the 2025-26 school year. We are grateful to the Evesham Education Foundation and all the community partners involved for supporting this effort.

Hello DES Families!
DeMasi Elementary School graduate, and current DeMasi Middle School 6th grader, Chase Gilchrist is getting ready to battle cancer for the 6th time. Chase has terminal, grade 3 metastatic anaplastic ependymoma. While there is no known cure for Chase’s cancer, he is committed to fighting the good fight. Money collected will go directly to the Gilchrist Family to help with the enormous costs associated with cancer.

How: Bring in a donation of at least $1 to your homeroom teacher (DMS) or classroom teacher (DES) each Friday you wear a hat.

ANNUAL MULTICULTERAL NIGHT
Our annual Multicultural Night event is taking place on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. In order to prepare for this event, we are sending out two different Google forms for staff and families to fill out if they would like to participate in the event. The first google form is a survey. The purpose of this survey is for our schools to have a visual representation of our wide array of cultures within our community. We will have a map representing this data displayed at Multicultural Night. Additionally, the second Google form is a sign up form for anyone who would like to have any type of display of their culture at this event!
Whether you would like to bring food, participate in a dance, or make a poster/display about your culture, we encourage ALL families to participate!

Math and RC Information Session Invitation for Parents
We are excited to invite you to a special presentation that aims to provide valuable insights into our Math Program and the Responsive Classroom Approach to instruction.

All DeMasi Elementary students will be participating in a day of service in support of
several local charities. Students will be assembling keep warm & safe bags, sweet treats
appreciations bags, Chemo Care bags, baby care bags, blessing bags for the homeless,
sacks of love for nursing home patients, and 5th graders will be making PB&J sandwiches
for Cathedral Kitchen

DeMasi Elementary PTA is happy to bring back an exciting new running program for our students. This has added a fun and healthy component to their recess period. We need parent volunteers to make it successful.
RULES: Wear Sneakers and have fun!
4 laps equals 1 charm (FYI: 4 laps is the same as 1 mile).
If your child loses his/her necklace for recess runners, complete this form and return it to school with $1.00 to receive a new necklace.

DES FIELD DAY
WHEN: Wed June 1st
Students grades K-5 will participate in Field Day on June 1st. Join our PE staff and teachers by volunteering to assist with set up and/or stations. Please have your students wear comfortable clothing (DES spirit wear or school colors are encouraged), sneakers and sunscreen.

COIN WARS
WHEN: March 28th – April 1st
Each grade will have their own jug for collecting money. The goal is to raise the most for your grade.
RULES: Gain points by adding coins to your grade’s designated jug. Lower other grade totals by adding bills (papers bills are negative points!!)
PRIZE: The grade level with the most points will win a Rita’s Water Ice party!
GOAL: All money raised will go towards the purchase of new Volleyball and Spikeball equipment for the playground.
PARENTS: Let’s get those coins from your cars, couches, junk drawers and coffee cans. Help your child’s grade level win COIN WARS!!
